Founded over 30 years ago, the Cedar Valley Chapter (CVSHRM) of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the State of Iowa's second oldest SHRM affiliated chapter. The Cedar Valley Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the development and improvement of personnel administration, high standards of performance of its members, and greater recognition of the professional status of Human Resource Management. Accomplishment of the goals and objectives should be encouraged through participation of members in Society activities, interchange of ideas, mutual assistance and dissemination of information regarding the Society, its individual members, and the profession.
