Recertification is required within three (3) years of your original certification date. Sixty (60) credit hours must be accumulated during the three-year recertification cycle. Credit hours can be obtained through:

• Continuing education
• Instruction
• On-the-job experience
• Research and publishing
• Leadership
• Professional membership in a national HR professional association.
• HRCI Recertification Webcast

Note: Many of the Cedar Valley SHRM monthly meetings are pre-approved for recertification credit
